Thermocouple connector blocks are mounted inside of the thermocouple connection head. These blocks are used to connect the thermocouple element wires to the extension wire which will then run to the instrument. Connector blocks are usually ceramic in construction but materials other materials can be provided. Check the connection head page to find out which blocks can be used in each type of head.
